Excuse Me !!!!

Excuse me because ……

We often hear this phrase in our everyday life. People give excuses usually for not doing the task assigned to them. It could be their office task, assignment, or just a deed. Nowadays people largely delay their tasks, & whenever they ask for that task, they present only the excuse instead of the job needed to be done.

Students have a wonderful bag full of excuses to present to their teachers, usually when they are found : To skipped class, or failed in exams, or not completing the assignments, or get arrested during their oral presentations, but they always seem to have excuses for why they should be forgiven.

Here are some tips of producing great excuses  for the students :)

Excuse Rule #1: Keep it simple.

There’s nothing worse than an overly complicated excuse. Many teachers and professors get annoyed quickly, and nothing brings on annoyance like some long, drawn-out tale.Instead, keep your excuse simple and to the point. Your teacher may appreciate not having their time wasted.

Excuse Rule #2: Make it believable.

Some students believe that their story would immediately impress teacher, but professional educators are usually more grounded in reality. Inventing such unbelievable excuses can make you severe loss. so make sure that your excuses cast you in a believable light.

Excuse Rule #3: It’s someone else’s fault.

This rule should not be overlooked by anyone serious about making excuses. You never want to be blamed for your own failure under any circumstances. Because if you would found guilty, you would have to pay the price. On the other hand, if you are a hapless victim of circumstances completely out of your control, then there is chance of survival.

Excuse Rule #4: Use flattery.

It sounds basic, but too many students ignore this very effective technique. Try to use it if you feel yourself  stuck in a dangerous situation.

Excuse Rule #5: Don’t forget the details.

Last, but not least, are the little details necessary for producing good excuses. Believe it or not, minute details play vital role such as doctors appointment card or prescription letters although of anyone of the family

Details should not be ignored when students are making their excuses in person, either. Such as don’t forget a little cough or sniffle when calling to report illness. It’s a good way to remind the teacher that you’re in bad health condition, and everyone would be healthier if you just stay home.

Note : Now if any student’s ability of Excuse improves after this blog, its his /her personal success, kindly Do Not blame me for your effort :)

Road To Development !!

Karachi has become a metropolitan city. Huge developments in last few decades have revolutionalized this city. As resources & infrastructure developed massively in the city, it has also created some post-development issues & problems. The city now has an effective road map with several wide interchanges, wider roads, over-head bridges & signal free corridors, but problem of traffic congestion still exists.

Every year more than 500,000 new cars are being registered in the city. If this increase in cars population continues, there would be no space to drive these cars in few years. Although main streets are on their full stretch nowadays,  but they are surely not sufficient enough.

Another important factor concerned with traffic congestion & traffic jam is violation of road safety  & driving rules. Everyone seems to be in extreme hurry, usually ignoring & violating traffic signs & lights. This reckless behaviour not only cause traffic jam problem but also accidents.

A mass transit system is the need of this city. As it is not only the biggest lack in this metropolitan city, but it would also help in maintaining a better environment in the city. As people will prefer the mass transit system, & lesser vehicles would be on the roads & it will certainly decrease the pollution caused by massive no. of vehicles & by huge traffic jams.

Dream Came True

Dreams are usually referred as the images which our brain develops while we sleep. It could be something random, could be our thoughts or our wishes. Some day dreams are often our wishes, which we want to get fulfil. But making a dream come true is a tough job, it requires hard work & luck both.

A pleasant incident happened to me. I have a keen interest in Graphics designing & structuring. I try to keep myself updated with the new trends & technologies of this field. In pursuance,  I attended an IT Exhibition at Expo last year. The ideas & technology presented in the exhibition was really up to cater the needs of tomorrow. As I was moving across different stalls, my attention drags to an announcement. It was about a competition of graphical skills, I rushed to that stall & managed to be a competitor. The task was to design an advertisement pamphlet theme in just few minutes. It was a challenging task, so I gathered myself & thought of few lines, & finally managed to shape one in that limited time.

A panel of judges examined all ideas & themes presented by all competitors. They gathered to reach to consensus & to declare the winner. Judges than announced the name of the winner, that was the most amazing moment, I heard my name as a winner. I was pleasantly surprised, judges than gave me a winning certificate & complementary gift in appreciation of my skills. That moment, I deeply thanked God, my skills were appreciated and my dream came true !!!

Rabiul Awwal Rallies

In Current Situation of Pakistan, specially city of Karachi, a crowded gathering is surely a risk worthy phenomenon. These days, where suicide bombings are taking place after all security measures, a large rally or march could be on hit-roll. Specially the religious ones as we have seen on Ashura day, which caused more than 50 lives.

In Karachi, majority of the rallies march on M.A.Jinnah road to Tower or nearby. It is extremely difficult to protect the whole path way, as the road is conjusted with lots of small shops, houses & streets, which increase the risk ratio.

Government should not allow rallies to march on that particular road. Instead a better wide & protected pathway can be offer to the people, who want to march in a rally, as for the security of those people and for the security of property of the city.
